On Monday this week, Year 5 visited the London Eye, down on the Southbank by the River Thames. They had a fantastic time. Their trip was linked to work they are doing on the book The London Eye Mystery by Siobhan Dowd. They created a wonderful  London Eye mystery story of their own in their assembly this week. Here are some comments from  children about the trip: “I really liked going on the London Eye, at the top you can see lots of different things in London”- Fatima. “We were so high up people looked like ants”- Joshua. “We could see the Olympic Stadium” - Megan. “Looking at the  reactions on other peoples  faces was the best”- Trevon. “It was once of the best trips that I have ever been on”- Unais. “From the top you can see a view of the whole city, you can see Hackney too”-Aaron.
