Welcome to the website of Kingsmead Primary School in Hackney. We are proud of our school and hope this website gives you a flavour of what we do. Kingsmead was named Creative School of the Year in March 2012 by Hackney Learning Trust and an Outstanding School by OFSTED 2011/12. In July 2012 Kingsmead was designated as a National Support school and I became a National Leader of Education. In March 2013 we were designated as a National teaching school. We work in partnership with Gayhurst Community school and lead the Hackney Teaching School Alliance. All this means we can continue to learn from our wider community whilst ensuring the children, staff and parents get the best quality education we can give them. Enjoy!
