At the end of the summer term Kingsmead had a very  exciting visit from our local Community Police. They bought two of their beautiful police horses with them and we learnt how they help the police to keep us safe and were able to feed them  apples. We tried on the police uniforms and sat in the police van. We looked at the different  equipment they use and spoke on their walkie talkies.

The children in Early Years and Year 1 and 2 (this year’s Year 2 & 3) all learnt about how the police help us and had a wonderful time. We look forward to seeing them on their next visit.
