Transport for London have awarded us Beacon Cycling School status. 'Beacon Awards' are awarded to schools that have shown an excellence in one of four travel areas: Cycling, Road Safety, Walking and Partnership Working.
Kingsmead's dance and drumming group The Dynamix gave a fantastic performance at the School Proms event at the Royal Albert Hall.
Fourteen Kingsmead pupils were invited to attend the Hackney Sports Award ceremony at the Hackney Empire, to collect their Personal Best trophy.
The whole school: all the staff, pupils, kitchen staff and caretaker had a fantastic away day at Chigwell Row Campsite on 20th September.
