Nursery and Reception sow seeds in local park

Nursery and Reception children help sow flowering plant seeds to create a meadow on Daubeney Fields

Our youngest children recently took part in a seed sowing activity with the Hackney Buzzline project, in our local park - Daubeney Fields. The ground had been prepared so the children could have fun scattering the seeds of pollinator friendly plants and flowers, to help support local pollinating insects. This is part of the ongoing work we are doing with the exciting Hackney Buzzline project - which is creating a flowering corridor through this part of Hackney, to help support butterflies, bees, moths and other pollinating insects. As you can see from the short film below - the children had great fun with this activity!
