Welcome to the website of Kingsmead Primary School in Hackney. We are proud of our school and hope this website gives you a flavour of what we do.  Kingsmead as a National teaching school an Outstanding School by OFSTED 2011/12 is a highly successful school for it's community.   In July 2012 Kingsmead was designated as a National Support school and I became a National Leader of Education.   We work in partnership with Gayhurst Community school and Mandeville Primary school sharing professional expertise, specialist teachers and resources, which benefits the communities of all three schools. We also lead the Hackney Teaching School Alliance which is an alliance of 15 other schools in Hackney.  All this means we can continue to learn from our wider community whilst ensuring the children, staff and parents get the best quality education we can give them.  Kingsmead values it's amazing staff and children and works hard with parents to ensure that the children here achieve to the best of their ability in all areas. The website is here to demonstrate how that looks in practice.
