Yellow class recently created some beautiful mummies and sarcophagai as part of their Ancient Egypt topic. The children worked really hard: first they wrapped barbie dolls up to make their mummies, then they used  modrock to create the sarcophagus, decorating them beautifully once they were dry.”We painted faces and lines on them like they did in Ancient Egypt. It was brilliant and awesome to do” said Nishaun.

Year 4 also went on a trip to the British Museum to look at the Ancient Egypt exhibits. “It was such fun. We saw mummies, & sarcophagai & canopic jars” Sheraz. “My  favourite part was seeing the Rosetta Stone” Isabel.
